KSMI is going to the CRTC!

After a full year of planning and product development, KSMI Broadcasting is taking its product Weathercaster to the CRTC for national basic carriage approval.

When we submit the application to the CRTC we will need your support!

Let your voices be heard, visit www.myksmi.com and read up on Weathercaster, then if you want to help us out you can click “Support KSMI!” and tell the CRTC what you think of Weathercaster and why it’s important to you.

As of right now we have not submitted our broadcast application to the CRTC therefore the CRTC is not taking letters at the time, however KSMI is accepting letters and web form fill-outs saying that you support our application. Simply visit www.myksmi.com to find out more!

Since I live in Florida, I think the KSMI Weather Channel should be streaming LIVE online

As the service will only be available in Canada there will be select systems streaming online. There will be no national feed as the cable network is local to each neighbourhood, similar to Weatherscan.

Update
- Tonight I got back in touch with Ryan Farish regarding music.
- Posted a YouTube clip of the Ottawa system right on boot up. Clip:
 


Bugs to be fixed:
After 11pm the weather icons within' the WxWindow's don't update, and show the cloudy icon. However the L bar icon does update, interesting to say the least.

Well, we talked a couple of months ago about music. He said he had no problem providing it, however I didnt get a chance to talk to him about it after that, so I sent him a responce about it. I expect to hear from him within' the week, I might give him a call on Friday.
