True! Remember the XL in Ozark of mine that never displayed an ID? Turns out it is working again, it's ID is 003171 but still displaying as Ch25.

Have you had a STAR not work properly or stop working then came back to life? Tell its story here =)

There have been numerous reports about no ID being shown. Very common issue. Very common to see it get fixed. I don't know what you mean by "came back to life"....

Based on the topic name, I expected to read about a STAR that wasn't working at all, but is now fixed. But an ID number!? Is the really something worth getting excited about?

If you look at the video of the 4000 in State College, PA on the east side of town, in 2007 it had graphical problems (it's on my page from a long time ago; I did a CAM of it.) As of April 2010, this STAR is no longer having any graphical issues and is in mint condition.
