Monterey, I believe I didn't see the Carmel CC location until HiRAD was implemented.

Wow, that's awesome!! I had no idea there used to be a junior so close to home!

Do you have any way of capturing your intellistar? I'd like to compare it to mine. BTW, here's a clip of mine:

Thanks!

Did you happen to record a clip of the junior?

Awww, man. :( Can you recall any of the cities on the latest hourly observations list? Or the two tide locations?

In the RO screen, there was Santa Cruz, San Jose, Big Sur, Carmel Valley (mind you not Carmel), and there were a few inland towns there as well. As for the tides screen, I don't remember. I bet they were more local. I think it is the same as seen on the Intellistar.

What STAR did you have in Aptos?

I wonder how Santa Cruz was on there despite the fact there is no airport there. Before hirad, my intellistar got observations from Watsonville airport.

I'm pretty sure we had the XL before the intellistar. I can barely remember it, but my parents do. And it turns out we never had the 4000 here. I think we had the 3000 here in the 90's.

It might've been Watsonville instead of Santa Cruz.

Were CC locations all airports?

On all the previous STARs, yes, all the CC locations were airports. But the intellistars today use hirad, hence why my intellistar's reporting site is "Santa Cruz".

Actually the other day, I created an emulated junior clip for my area. Maybe some of the cities were also used in yours.

Very nice! How do you emulate the Junior? I heard some use Powerpoint.

If I can't create an emulated Junior of my area, then I'll upload a 4000 emulation.

I created the emulation in adobe after effects.

Ooh, that'd be great! Or you can tell me the cities, and I can put them in a junior emulation for you.
