Title: How to record the WS4000 better in CamStudio
Post by: TWC Fan on August 18, 2010, 02:14:10 PM
This info is for people having trouble recording WS4000 emulator.

1. First download the CamStudio codec and install it.

2. Go to video options and in Compressor, set it to CamStudio Lowless Codec v1.4. and set the quality to 100.

3. In the configure menu, set the level to 5.

4. On the taskbar, right click on mouse and go to the Task Manager.

5. In task manager, look for "Recorder.exe", left click on it and go to set prioirty and set it to Low.

6. In task manager, look for "WS4000.exe", left click on it and go to set prioirty and set it to High.

And that's it!

Edit: Oh! And make sure you have some programs closed while recording the emulator.

I'm not sure where to post this.

You could use shortcut keys like what i do and resize your desktop into 800x600 so nothing outside the border is exposed and Options > Program > Hide flashing rectangle while recording for recording icons animating

Also to save space you can compress in Movie maker and insert the audio so skipping doesnt happen while recording
