Hehe.. I had to do it!!
Just to note, people were crazy in my area, loitering in the streets, setting off fireworks, honking horns without a care and flocking to Dicks Sporting Goods to get gear!

I heard fireworks last night (I knew that meant they won), but they quickly ended since they are illegal here in NJ. There was also one person that kept honking their horn while riding through our housing subdivision. It was crazy.

I have a feeling my school will be empty tomorrow.

Probably so, all i know is that our philly teams have been on a bad drought and most fanatics feel as though we've been cursed! a coworker was sporting this teeshirt about the curse of William Penn's statue in Philadelphia. The curse goes like this: william penn's statue used to be the tallest figure overtop the city and he (his statue) would "overlook" the city, and ever since a building was built taller than William Penn, no Philadelphia teams have won. He mentioned to me that if Philadelphia won, that not to put it past him that someone would be crazy enough to burn down a building. i dont endorse into any of those supersticions, and i havnt heard in the news any building being burnt down! haha

When the count was 1-1 with 2 outs in the 9th my power went out for 53 minutes, so i didn't hear Joe Buck say "his world series phrase." But im glad the Phillies won, also i have a feeling the whole team will get free food at Geno's and all around Philadelphia for years to come.

I don't think there was any cheating involved. However, the umpires, on the other hand, absolutely sucked. They missed call after call after call. Would the outcome of any of the games been different with better umpiring? Probably not. Its just the idea that on its biggest stage you'd think baseball (and the umpires) would make damn sure to do the best possible job.
