What did not satisfy me was: Kobe Bryant became MVP this year. Sasha Vujacic should have been MVP, not Kobe.

Kind of rooting for the Celtics, but both teams played great games.  They were neck-and-neck for quite a while last night, especially near the end. Thought maybe there would be OT, but the Lakers pulled it off.  Congrats to them.

Just glad it's OVER and I don't have to be at work til 1145/midnight anymore

The sad thing is that almost every fan base does it.  It's a bigger problem with our society in general and not taking responsibility for our actions.  Congrats to the Lakers after a very tough game 7, and I hope those who were rooting for the Celtics don't hang your heads too much as your team played great team defense most of the series.

The ones that were outside tipping cars over, fighting other fans, and shooting people are probably drunk... and I mean SO DRUNK that there were reports of public intoxication on busy streets! To me, this is usual, since I always see this as BREAKING NEWS  every time the Lakers win a championship.

I'm going to say what I did on another forum: If any city knows how to riot, it's Los Angeles. They seem to have plenty of practice. The difference is the police are the solution, not the problem this time. (I'm from Pittsburgh and don't go to Pitt, and our collegiate b-ball team is bollocks, so I could care less. )

I stopped watching b-ball after the Pacers-Detroit  brawl.  All it is, is "Thug-ball"  The Lakers are favored to win.  The refs will do whatever they can to help the Lakers out.  Can't stand the Lakers.  Phil Jackson is no coach either.  When you have the players it's a sure bet to win.

I am not one of those idiots who goes around smashing stuff when my team wins. I yell, and scream, and jump around, and I just enjoy the celebration. A lot of the people who do that are inebreated or high on something.
