i've had...an interesting weekend - to say the least:
so on saturday (aug 2) i was scheduled to open up at work (9:30) and work til 3, so I did - and they day flew by...the end. (you'll see where i'm gettin' at in just a mintue or so.)
sunday, however I was scheduled to be off...so i decided to hang with my friend, a fellow worker, Jordan on Saturday night at the quarry...where our job is at. :p....so we went in and had desert, then headed off to gameworks and stayed until like 12:30am - then we went to denny's to eat breakfast :p at 1 in the morning, and had a blast that night, they took me home at 2 and i went to sleep...jordan mind you was scheduled to work at 9:30 (open) hahaha so I made fun of him for having to work...well at 8am my manager calls me on my cell phone and tells me that another locale is in DESPERATE need of my help, so he sent me to that locale and I worked from 10:30-3 | my other co-worker, Raul from my locale was sent to the same locale I was at, and he ended up pulling an 10 hour shift (11-9).
so sunday rolls around, and that manager at the locale who is short handed asked me to work for her again, so I did...however I worked at my own locale from 5-CL - so I was at the new locale from 11-5 and hurried to my locale, obviously calling them that i'll be a few minutes late...well I arrive and my GM pulls me into her office and told me I was suspended from the register because my register came up short $20 on August 2, and July 27 - 20.00 even - another cashier was also suspended, however my register IS NOT the only one coming up short, but they want to get to the bottom of it, and they told me i wasn't being accused of stealing it or anything (and I didn't take it in that way - because I didn't do it) so i was like "ok, yeah understand" - over all this whole month...we came up short $80 (not just me - all cashiers, and this 3-month cycle about $180.00) which is REALLY bad. tonight, raul's register came up short $20.00 even, (it was only him and the manger...and he only comes up short a few cents evertime he's on register, but today he was with the manger) concidental ? I think not.
sorry for the long rant, just thought i should let you in on what's goin' on in my life :p
