A while back, I found two screenshots I took while in TWC's "forum" on CompuServe back in the mid 90s. Anyway, I thought they might interest some people. The first one is what you'd see when you first logged into the forum. The second one shows a list of files in the "library" that contain the word "music." And yes, since I was the resident music expert, most of the files were contributed by me. :D

That's interesting indeed, Matt. I didn't know TWC had its own "forum" back then. :o I wish I could have joined, but I was only half of my current age when you took that first screen shot and wouldn't have internet access until three years later! :P

The TWCMB's were a disaster during its final years though. I had an account there but rarely posted. Everyone argued and brought threads off topic, and usually there were no admins present frequently to monitor things. That's probably one of the reasons why Matt opened his own forum in the first place.

Oh how I miss Classic Mac OSes, and old school AOL
I was only 5 years old when those shots were taken!

The screenshots were from CompuServe, not AOL. And the "forum" was on CompuServe only. This was shortly after weather.com debuted and long before they had a message board there (which I was also a part of).

I know, but I had AOL back in the day, that's why I said it.

Very nice. Windows 95 and the internet were just increasing in popularity then
