The cheapest I have found around here right now is $1.94 for 87 octane. My truck is pretty old so I've been getting higher octane since it pings a little with the 87. I have a flex-fuel truck and it was doing well with E85. Then the price of that started shooting up. It's actually more expensive now than 87 here. Used to be a lot cheaper than 87 and that's when I was using it. It burns faster than regular gas though so if the price is even close to regular gas then it just isn't cost effective to use. Plus, my truck has a harder time starting on E85 in cold weather so I've only used it during warm spells in the winter.
