I hate to ask such a silly question, but how did gas suddenly go up by nearly a dollar since February? It's never gone up this fast before, and I don't see how just suddenly the supply went really low.

The gas around my area is around $3.70-something, now, around the same price as Kansas' prices... Which is nuts, because usually gas prices in Kansas are 10 cents higher then ours in Missouri.  Now there's probably only a four cent difference.

Now people are saying that gas may be $4 after Memorial Day.   <_<

Highest price in the us for unleaded is 4.98 in Bethel, AK and here in Fall River the lowest price is 3.73

I'm surprised Bethel, AK has the most expensive gas. Alaska is full of oil. They'd be having it cheaper.
