Wow.    I've always heard about California, and Chevron itself when found in other states, having reputations for high gas prices, but this just about takes the cake.

For the record, mine's dropped a penny to $3.34.

$3.75 here, but cross the border and drive a few miles into Maryland, and it's $3.59. Taxes...

$3.33 today.  A one-cent drop may not be much, but it beats the alternative of a price increase.

Other countries, like China and India, are using more to pick up the slack.  In addition, people that don't want to play the slots stocks find that oil is a safe bet and so they trade in it instead.  Either one of these can cause prices to stay high.

$2.31 on average here in the Atlanta area.There's been a few areas in N. GA reporting gas prices below $2 since before Christmas. We may have a shot at $2 gas here too, hopefully.

$2.20 here. The oil industry is tricking us. Within a few months I guarantee you they'll spike over a dollar again. Keep in mind these low prices aren't good for the booming economy either...
