http://www.illinoisgasprices.com/Prices_nationally.aspx  This is a website showing the average gas prices by state.

My fellow Illinoisans on the forums, we have the second highest average gas price in the nation  Aren't you all proud.

Gas here has been anywhere from $4.07 to as high as $4.18.  I've heard the Chicagoland area is averaging $4.44/gallon.

Gasoline is $3.84 per gallon here.  If there's any good news for everyone, oil prices just dropped over the past couple days.  Maybe you'll see a little relief in a week or so.

I wonder if 2011 will be similar to 2008, prices rising and eventually peaking during the summer, then falling towards fall and winter...

Gasoline has dropped to $3.75 per gallon in my area, and I expect a continued decline as oil prices fell again significantly.

I'm so proud of the super high gas prices in my area. /sarcasm

I remember earlier this week on YWT, there was a segment mentioning the high gas prices, and a gas station had premium gas for the low (not) price of $5.04. It was in Chicago, as I could tell from the Pulaski Rd. sign next to that gas station.
