In early 1999, oil was just $8 a barrel. It's amazing how much it went up since.

I remember it costed only about $15-20 to fill up my 16 gallon tank. Now it costs me over $60.

I paid for 10 dollars for between 2 and 3 gallons yesterday, and just over 16 dollars for a little under 4 gallons uggh.

Idk about you, but I don't like my tank going below 1/2, just because it seems like I spend less money if I fill up at 1/2 :P  even though it would be the same..

And the week after that and the week after that.  I heard on either TODAY or Good Morning America one day, that gas prices are expected to keep on rising up until the November elections... <_<

I think the oil bubble has finally burst. Look for prices to continue a downward trend.

I personally think we are in a small cyclical patter around the $130/barrel level until after Labor Day, in which the bubble will deflate down to a pattern around $80-$100/barrel.

My prediction: Oil will remain steady at $125-$135 right now, then rise a bit as we head toward the end of August, then drop to $100 or less through the Fall, followed by an increase through the winter.

That sounds a little unrealistic.

Oil already had its bull run, now next is OPEC's correction point at $70 dollars a barrel
