Title: Forecasting Site Complete!
Post by: Mr. Rainman on November 12, 2010, 04:53:52 PM
In the Pot Belly Stove, I brought up the fact that I finished my school project, building a forecasting website. Well, today, I finally finished it, and I wanted to share it with you all.

Here is the link: http://mccallieforecastingoffice.weebly.com/ (http://mccallieforecastingoffice.weebly.com/)

Please feel free to let me know if there is anything I can do to improve it (it's kinda basic, just a load of maps and a few bits of text), or compliment it out the wazoo.

Your website looks awesome. It's good you have a disclaimer on your site to avoid legal issues.

It looks good to me.  Someday, you'll have to think of adding your own discussions or thoughts for weather events to not let everything be just a TWC map overview.

Thanks for your replies. I agree with Patrick; I'm trying to add some text of my own so it isn't just maps, but I'm having difficulties setting up the text and the pictures without any major glitch crashing the web page.

Looks Great! One questions though: Do the maps update automatically or do you have to do that?

The maps do update themselves, thanks to the power of HTML.

Great Site ... I bookmarked it in my Weather and Climate Happenings section
