This happens every time I use Photoshop. I try to open a dialog box, like blending options for example or filter settings for another example, and then a message pops up saying explorer.exe crashed and needs to restart. Now this only happens intermittently, not all all the time, but it happens at least once when I use photoshop. I searched for a solution on google, but found nothing. Can anyone give me ideas on this issue? This is really getting on my nerves every time it happens. <_< I keep thinking my computer's going to die on me.
*Forgot to note that this is CS2, not CS3 on Windows Vista Home Basic.
Thanks in advanced!

Can your computer handle photoshop? I noticed you have Vista Basic which I only assumed was put on computers with low specs.

Vista Basic is missing a lot of key components, thus Photoshop, SlingPlayer 2.0, and other programs will not work. You should try Photoshop 7, or try to upgrade to Vista Home Premium, which should be a $79 upgrade.

It's a pretty good laptop. It had no issues downloading any of the BIG IS goodies like the maps. I did try to run Photoshop as Admin to see if that will do the trick.

Once I get a job, I might upgrade. I just don't have the money right now.
