A YouTube user has uploaded the final moments of WFAA-TV's analog signal as seen on the small analog screen on the digital channel, which includes their landmark nightly sign-off video used in the 1960s to 1970s as their analog send-off.

I did see the analog shutoffs of KXAS, KXTX, KFWD, and KMPX through others' YouTube videos; but nothing special.

At 0:42 there's a titlecard with "Evening Edition Weather"

I just noticed, what's a Station with a W prefix doing west of the Mississippi?

Because some stations were already broadcasting (As radio..obviously) before the regulation of the "K/W" went into effect in the early 1900's.   On the other side, there is a KDKA in Pittsburg, which is on the east (duh,,ha)

Looks like WHDH Ch-7 Boston is having Signal problems and will be simulcast on ch 7 and Channel 42 on by rescanning their tv or Converter box

Earlier this week, I was making a pitstop at the Wingate Hotel and I found out that their local channels weren't DTV ready. Even if the TVs were DTV ready in the rooms, the one in the dining hall wasn't. And it's an HDTV set!!
