No, but I've done lots of research on them because I've considered them a number of times.

Yep, and I probably actually needed them long before that. I was probably born with bad vision. I have astigmatism, which is when the eyeball is football shaped, instead of perfectly round. So I was probably born that way, it probably wasn't something that developed later on.

Really! Did your parents have bad vision and wore glasses?

My mother and both brothers are near sighted, and my fathers eyes have only recently gone bad from age. I'm the only one in the family with astigmatism. We're not really sure where I got it from, as its hereditary, and we don't know of anyone else in the family that has it.

Well I am learning about heriditary in Biology class. So I think the past generations your ancestors probably had some bad vision. And the bad vision is passed on to you. If you get married and have children, there is a chance that the bad vision from you Gary might pass on to them. Just assuming about your eyesight.

Have you gone to the eye doctor for that?

Yes of course I could pass it on to my children-assuming I have any. And yes I've seen an eye doctor-how else would I have gotten glasses?

Yes that is true! How would they help you cure your eye disease astigmatism? Can it be cured?

The glasses just adjust my vision to 20/20. They really don't do much of anything in terms of changing the eye itself. There's no cure, but sometimes you can outgrow it-though I'm 22 and my eyes are still pretty bad, so I'm not holding out hope on that.

Do you have a wife or any kids that you passed them on to yet? If it outgrows itself, it's painful right?

No, I have neither yet. And no, outgrowing something doesn't involve any pain at all.
