Digital Camera

What are great cameras between $150-$200?  I've looked at the Nikon coolpix plum.  I'm thinking about buying it.  Is there some better?

I heard Nikons are pretty good cameras. If you can, you should definietly go for that one. A Sony camera is good as well, but some exceed your preferred price range.

Just make sure you stay away from Kodaks, though. My sister has one and it's not all that good in terms of hardware.

I have a Nikon Coolpix L20, and it does a pretty good job.  I've also heard about the Kodaks being a problem, too.

Which one do you think is better?  Granted, I haven't got the camera set where I want it.

Agreed. The first one looks way too yellow. The second one just looks natural.

#1 looks like it's been taken with indoor settings or something. #2 is perfect. i'd go for #2.

The winner is #2, and it's not even close.  The colors look very unnatural in #1.

The first pic is from my old camera.  I knew it took awful pics, but didn't know it was that bad. :wow:  It was a gift.  The second one is from my new camera.  I'm interested in seeing a pic from a sony camera.  Would someone post?  I spent more than I wanted, one reason it captures video in 1080p.

#3 is better to be quite honest.

Sony is a good camera choice, but do not get the one I have, which is the Sony Webbie HD camera. It takes good video, but horrible pics. An example is this:
