Daylight Savings Time
« on: March 03, 2008, 08:34:48 PM »
Don't forget to "spring forward" one hour this Sunday, at 2 AM, as DST will be taking effect  earlier this year.  :sunglasses:

EDIT: 2 AM Gary, not 2 PM ;)

I KNOW!! I have a thingy that tells me. I can't wait! DST is 1,000,000 times better than normal time.

They have it in the afternoon this year? In the past they'd often make the time change early in the morning.

It's suppose to cut down on energy usage. With DST, you wouldn't turn the lights on until later at night.

If it weren't for DST, we'd have sunrise here at 4AM during the summer, which is pretty awkward considering that a lot of people are still sleeping during that hour.
