Yeah, they were acquired by some other company in the early 2000s and all of the stores closed by the end of 2003.

Oh I know that one. I also remember Duane Read, the most common pharmacy chain in the NYC metro. There still in business though surprisingly.

We have CVS and Walgreens but not Eckerd.
