There is a topic about commercials that you loathe, but what about the commercials that you love, old and/or current?
I remember this one ad for Portable On Demand Storage (PODS) where this moving guy has trouble pulling out the ramp from his truck, and at the end, he's excited that he has the ramp halfway open, but then it pulls back, and the guy just gives up. That one made me laugh :rofl2:
I also like the Allstate ads with that Mayhem character. Those make me laugh also :lol:

In fact, there's a funniest commercials special on TBS every year. I love the commercials they show on there. :lol:

OT: That's Chinese. I remember seeing it in my Chinese class today, and some kids were trying to act it out, but that didn't work. They couldn't figure what they were saying in Chinese. I didn't even notice the dealer was speaking Chinese until the 3rd time I watched. Man, I'm slow. :lol:
Back on topic: I like that Spanish State Farm commercial with Sofia Vergara in it, the one with Bob Barker, and the other with the magician.

There's an IKEA ad where a family is living in a living room showcase and their son asks them if he can sleep over at a friend's whose family is also staying in a living room showcase adjacent from them. :P It made me think of that episode of Married With Children where the Bundys stayed in the supermarket eating up the food and lounging in the lounge chairs because they had no air conditioning in their home.

There was a commercial back in '01 for Uncle Ben's Mini Bowls, where two people are tied up in a cauldron by some tribesmen, who demanded dinner. Then the tribesmen spot a microwave with the bowls, and then they eat the food in the bowls. That commercial made me laugh also :rofl2: :lol:

Brian, it may look like a commercial but it's not a commercial. Parodies are deliberately exaggerated for comic effect (e.g. MadTV), so basically that video was prodding fun on an actual commercial.

The new GEICO/Maxwell commercial always makes me laugh, because every time I see it, the first thought that enters my mind (in Beavis or Butt-Head voice) is: "Whoa, that chick wants to make out with a pig."

I also like that Metlife commercial that has Charlie Brown and Lucy in it where they keep saying the insurance rate should only be 5 cents and the boss gets frustrated and tells them it everything can't always be 5 cents.
