So what commercials annoy you the most?
Here's my list:
- The latest Progressive Ads that tells all about Progressive Online...in a Grocery Store form ("We have a savings of over $350! We have a savings of over $350!" yes, we heard ya!)
- That "OMG" promotion of "Gossip Girls".
- Countrywide
- Zantrex 3 (Fast talking gibberish and a lot of "Yes")
- Rooms To Go w/ Cindy Crawford (They could've played anything other than Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head")
- "Viva Viagra!"
- The original HeadOn ads
- Verizon: "Can You Hear Me Now?"
- Vonage (with that annoying background music)

It seems the MetroPCS ads says, "Permission To Speak Freely". 6 months later, "Unlimit Yourself", 6 more months later, "The Leader in Unlimited". I mean c'mon! Stick to one slogan for a full year!!!!

I don't mind the "Year-End Sales" ads, but the one that's overplayed is the "Year End Sell-A-Thon". 10 times per hour each station! IT'S ANNOYING!!!!

I always have and always will hate those HeadON commercials or any commercials that repeat the same thing over and over again like they're trying to brainwash you. There was one Burger King ad I liked where a lady had smacked this guy and told him UNBELIEVEABLE! They only showed it a couple of times then it was gone, I can't even remember what kind of burger they were promoting.

"If you call in the next 10 minutes, cos we can't do this all day". What a nice sales pitch. Telling people to call them expeditiously just for something that can be done in just as much time. They have all day and you can call when you want cos they don't take in heed of how many times that commercial runs.
Also, there is one "Bettie Grind" someone. Makes this commercial for the dumbest rap song since "Superman that Hoe", called "Dammit, I'm Fly", which comes on twice every hour around :35-:53. Dammit I'm Fly, then Time Warner cable commercial, then Dammit, I'm Fly. I know we have a Gucci store in Charlotte, but why are you going to rap about how "Fly" you are. So dang-on dumb. I am going to tape it through my phone and post it as soon as I can. Though, here is something to tide you over until then.

Well, I really don't think their prices are lower. And COME ON! Live Better?!?!? How could shopping at Walmart as opposed to Target or a regional grocery chain (like Meijer here) make your lifestyle that much different? Anyway, I really don't like what they have done to the economy, but enough of my rant, and that starts a whole new debate that probably does not belong here.

I hate as well. It's incredibly annoying and Baskin Robbins ice cream tastes like crap. I like Dairy Queen's better.

Oh gosh, I haven't seen those in years now. One ad that is really irritating to me is the ad for Al Roker... "For years, his name has been synonymous with weather"... "he's a trusted friend who tells it like it is". Lies, lies lies!
I hate those too. Al has no idea what he's talking about, and he overreacts and gets hyper about everything... a little ADHD, no?

Excuse the long rant:
There's this local cable/satellite distributor that makes the most annoying ads! The announcer's voice is overly loud and enthusiastic (“¡LLAME YAAA!”), and a phone ringing sound is played during the whole thing. Not to mention that these commercial are played ad nauseam. They once had a commercial that seemed like it was over 5 minutes long. It had the worst production music ever, and it repeated the same things over and over, like some infomercial.

This commercial has always annoyed me, and everyone in the area that I have talked to about it. It's been the same guy that has always done those commercials. Pandora shows some rather obnoxious ads. One is for some Microsoft program that allows people to collaborate over the internet. A good product, I'm sure, but the chick they hired to do that ad is annoying as heck. She's a stuck-up b****, and I assume that's supposed to be funny, but it's not.
The other one is for a local hospital. It's one of those ads that companies do for some reason, where they brag about how awesome they are. And at the same time, telling you very little about what they do. This one, in particular, brings out all the cliches like "we are never standing still" and "making healthcare healthier." Which, unless other area hospitals have a stated goal of making people sicker, means nothing to the listener.

I'll keep it going. The St. Jude Children's Research hospital commercial about childhood cancer.
