From my Comcast system:
Boomerang, Weatherscan (on the basic package too), TWC HD, Cartoon Network HD (mainly for Pokemon and Adult Swim), Cartoon Network West, MSNBC HD, CNBC HD, Comedy Central HD, WABC, WCBS, WNBC, WNYW, WWOR, WPIX, and WNET and just for fun: MSG, MSG+, MSG+2, SNY, and YES.
BTW: The reason why I wish I had the New York area stations instead of all my locals is because I HATE ALL of my local affiliates (which happens to be WHOI - ABC & CW+, WEEK - NBC, WMBD - CBS, WYZZ - Fox, WTVP - PBS, and WAOE - My Network TV). My local media market by the way is messed up and dieing and all of the newscasts from my area sucks. Also, the reason why I wish I could see the New York area RSNs is because I just want to watch for the fun of it (even though I'm mostly a St. Louis fan, but I like New York too). I only get FS Midwest (St. Louis teams), CSN Chicago (Chicago teams) and the Big Ten Network (Illinois feed only). I expecialy hate the Chicago teams and I don't care about the Big Ten. Another thing that sucks about watching sports on TV is because the all of the leauges wouldn't let you watch out-of-market teams and their broadcasts (even if they are playing against your own local team).
Perrered cable companys:
Cablevision, Insight (which we used to have in Illinois), Wow! Cable, Qwest, Sudden Link, RCN, or U.S. Cable.
Channels I wish my system would permently drop:
All of my locals of that said network affiliate, WGN America (Chicago biases, synd-ex blackouts, and sucky reruns), Nickelodeon (Spongebob and Dora ruined the network and I outgrew it anyways), Fox News Channel (I
NEVER trusted Fox or liked them), E! (west coast bias and chick shows), CSN Chicago (again, I
HATE the Chicago teams even though I'm in their stupid territory
), Disney Channel (too much Hanna Montanna, see also Nickelodeon), Disney XD (Disney Ch. clone), and the TV Guide Network (I miss Prevue Guide).
Those are the channels I wish my system would add as well as the ones I wish would get permity removed and the providers I wish were in my area.
