I know, for those of you that are from southern California, they're not surprised and used to being on guard
for these things.
Breaking news from Los Angeles... An earthquake shook southern California within the last 30 minutes.
Preliminary information has it at a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale and its epicenter about 30 miles
southeast of downtown Los Angeles, near the town of Chino Hills (located in San Bernandino County).

At least it's not a big, killer quake like the 1906 San Francisco quake. That was magnitude 8.3...
