The article is from the Huffington Post... I'll believe it once I see an official press release.

Oh my gosh...now this is absolutely ridiculous! :furious: I am sick of hearing about Michael Jackson...why is TWC doing this? The best time to air this would be at 3 in the morning. <_<

EDIT: What does this mean? Are we going to have to hear about him for the rest of the year?!? :club:

The announcement drew praise from South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, who urged all news media to extend their Jackson coverage through the end of the year.

Not surprising, the media is going to be on this frenzy for at least the next 4 to 6 weeks until the autopsy results are completed on what caused him to go into cardiac arrest if not beyond that.

The media is like a 4-year-old. It becomes obsessed with one thing, and becomes obsessed with another every month.

As I pointed out in the chat, the "article" written by a comedian, and it's tagged under "Comedy News". I think we've been duped.

Actually, Billy made the point earlier in this thread that this whole idea could be fake.  See his post below:

The article is from the Huffington Post... I'll believe it once I see an official press release.

Yes, but I think the thing that got us was that this was actually linked by Jennifer Roberts of TWC on her Twitter, leading us to believe it was real. I guess she just assumed that this was true.

It did sound very ridiculous from the start, though.

Well now it's even more annoying that people would lie about something on TWC. <_< Isn't this like the second or third time something like this has happened? :dunno:

i dont think they lied. perhaps they thought people would get the joke.

what gets me is that we actually considered something like this! its so lame TWC has declined to the point where we would actually consider something like this true

Oh my gosh, I am so gullible! :wall: But, as you said Martin, it's funny that with the current state of TWC, a lot of people would think that this is true.
