Okay, guys, we want your help. Got any videos or pictures of weather in action, or LOT8 videos you want to show off? We'd like to use it in our stream! If you want your videos and photos on the stream, simply post them here. We'll show them as soon as we can.

Well, it was five hours of complete torture, but the stream officially had its first all-day broadcast, and we managed to be patient enough to see the start of a relatively small severe weather event. We'll be doing it again today. A little note, though: Severe Weather Center is postponed until further notice. Our next show will be at 2 PM EDT, with Weather Center.

We are holding an emergency stream in response to the severe weather outbreak occurring in Alabama and Georgia. We encourage you to visit, as we have real-time tornado detection and warning updates.

Due to the mounting severe weather threat across the Eastern United States today and tomorrow, all regular streaming will be suspended for updated severe weather tracking. We'll be on tonight until around 12:30 AM, and on starting 7:00 AM tomorrow and closing up shop around 12:30 AM.

We have live radar with real-time severe warning updates. As for as we know, there is no place that gets warning information to you faster.

I can tell you, TWC is not as reliable due to commercial breaks and OCM's that do not pay much attention. WATCH US WHEN SEVERE WEATHER STRIKES, and enjoy a great tune while doing so!

I don't think we ever gave you guys a website that this stream was based out of. We do have our own website, with our own forecasts (heavily based on NWS forecasts). We update it several times a day, and try to add new things to it about once a week. We'd love some feedback on it from you guys!

We also just rolled out what we call "Precision Forecast", which is a one day outlook that is used to get accurate details into a map view. Its in the early phase and based on NWS forecasts with out interpretation. We'll see how well this system works in the coming days. Feedback should only be constructive to our efforts.
EDIT: Below is our forecast.

After a long hiatus, we are back on the air. You can watch the stream from the widget in the first post of the thread. Featuring a national forecast, and streaming radar with warning audio when necessary.

Double post, and I need some input on this. We're remodeling our website, and we have several new features. We're opening several specialty offices for the tropics, severe weather, and hydrology. In addition, we're going to form several local offices. We already have three: Charleston, Grand Forks, and Chattanooga.

Here's the thing: we don't want to be the only ones operating the site. We'd like to have other people interested in weather helping operating the specialty offices. If someone wants to open a local office, they can do so at no cost. So, please reply to this if you're interested. The site is still in the works, but we'll release it by mid-September.

This also will be good practice for those who want to go into the meteorology field testing your skills at forecasting... We both have several fans on Facebook that even after termination still come to us for weather information and we feel like we just left them hanging... So we're going to continue this service and would love to get to know you all and work together to forecast to our best abilities. We also need graphical outlooks done, so anyone with those talents are needed as well as those who can write text based outlooks... Some being technical. Thanks! Join us?
