For the record, I don't delete threads nor do I approve of thread deletion by the other admins, unless of course its a thread that must be deleted. But threads that you no longer want to update, or want to stop for some other reason should just be locked and left to fall away, not deleted.

Didn't you delete Gil's thread? If so, then that (along with Kyle's deleted thread) is probably why the count went lower.

I did delete Gil's thread, but the post count was still above 11,000 after doing so.
