I'd also probably have Kim work more than just an hour on weekends.

And you're having Nick and Vivian work six hours?! Oh my...

I like it, even though Evening Edition is never set to return. Maybe they'll make "Your Weather Tonight"

Haha
I think its pretty evened out though as far as the amount of Long form. Its just more spread out.

If I were to change programming:

- I would definitely eliminate ALL long-form programming

- Make the show "Wake Up With Al" more about weather than entertainment (this is TWC not NBC  :bleh:)

- Bring back all the meteorologists who were laid off or had left the network (Sharon Resultan, Alexandra Steele, etc.)

Here is what my schedule would look like; all times are Pacific:

Weekdays

1AM-3AM: First Outlook
3AM-4AM: Wake Up With Al
4AM-7AM: Your Weather Today
7AM-8AM: Wake Up With Al
8AM-11AM: Day Planner
11AM-4PM: PM Edition
4PM-1AM: Weather Center Live

Weekends

1AM-4AM- Sunrise Weather
4AM-8AM- Weekend View
8AM-11AM- Weekend Now
11AM-4PM: PM Edition
4PM-1AM: Weather Center Live

What do you guys think?

If I were to change programming:

It's nice to have a dream.  :)

Me, I'd bring TWC back to what it was in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  That was the absolute height of the network in my opinion.

Good schedule, if hypothetically they did use that schedule, I doubt any of the OCMs layed off would want to come back after being kicked to the curb like garbage even if they begged them to.

The long-form programming is something I really don't like.  The local on the 8s doesn't come on, not even always at the top and bottom of the hour anymore. :( Ice Pilots, Lifeguard, Coast Guard Alaska...and now another show?! Cowboys, whatever it is. It's like any other channel and you have to wait until a certain time, just as you would for your local news.

I think what it is is that people can get weather information many other ways, right when they want or need it besides turning on the tv to the weather channel. Internet, apps, the iPhone, iPad, iPod, cell phone. Back in the 90s, you didn't have most of what I just said, those others ways that we have now.

My schedule would be for long form to be moved to a sister network TWC could launch, Todd, (The guy who kinda looks like a younger Cantore, I forgot his name), and the Crystal and Chris duo move to a very late WC show so no one can or will tune in to see how boring, annoying, and awkward they are or they get kicked to the curb and go  to a local news station someplace somewhere I don't care. Bring back a few of vets to take their place, Bring back A&B: BTF along with the other shows that went HD in '08 so there's some kind of dang variety in the live programming, WUWA along w/ Roker disappears into oblivion, Heather/Carl on YWT, Nick/Viv and the usual Weekend crew can stay where they are, Paul, Kim, Adam, and Jim work on a revamped EE during the week then I'll be somewhat satisfied.

I'll try to post an actual schedule later.
