TWC Book
« on: July 05, 2007, 04:00:03 PM »
Does anyone know where I can buy TWC's "Improbably Rise of a Media Phenomenon" book, released in 2002? I haven't seen it in book stores. I don't have a PayPal account or anything (nor do I really want to), so I can't really buy one online.

Online is probably your best bet. Do you have a bank account (or a parent maybe?)If so, amazon.com is by and far the best way to go. If you've looked in bookstores and can't find it, I can't think of any other way to find it.

Ebay is your best bet. I've seen Buy It Now auctions for it for 50 cents.

Don't go Ebay. For a buck more I bought it off Amazon and knew that I would get it. With Ebay, you can never be too sure.

I've never had a single problem with ebay, but you do have to be careful.

Yeah I was actually surprised at the depth at which they talked about the STAR system. Very interesting reading.

I've never seen it in any bookstore, and it seems like most other people ahve also never seen it in a bookstore. Your best best is probably to order it from Amazon.com, or Ebay.com.

I remember seeing a promotion about the book being available in bookstores a few years ago, but I checked about a year or so ago and didn't see them. So I suppose that the book is out of print and thus is only available in sites such as Amazon or eBay. I'll ask my dad if he has an amazon account and we'll buy it there.

If it was ever available in bookstores, then yes it would definitley be out of print by now. But the reason I say that it may not have been available in regular bookstores is because its intended audience seems to be business students (and I say that based upon the fact that Harvard Business School Press was the publisher), and therefore the book may have been exclusively found in college campus bookstores, as opposed to public bookstores.
