Title: This is very strange...
Post by: Spring Rubber on November 07, 2008, 01:13:11 AM: For some reason, instead of the regularly scheduled "let's do that show", TWC is airing a repeat of the final hour of regular EE with Paul and Adam, which is a real no-no since it contains live radar and whatnot. I wonder what's going on...

It could be a number of things... one of the 3 screens on the video wall could be not working, the entire video wall being down (although they can use whatever chromakey walls are in the studio as a backup, I don't see why not), camera malfunctions, a similar situation to last weekend's Sunrise Weather could be occurring, short staffed, among any of many other possibilities.

But I have to agree, if you're going to repeat an airing of a live program, make sure you don't show any live radar imagery...

It's a rare scenario, but I guess it could happen. You'd think TWC would have a better backup plan in this scenario, though.
