TWC now covers crimes? I mean, WTF, they cover airplane crashes, airport computer glitches (oh and frequent LIGHTNING fatalities), but really? Crime???
Thanks to a twitter friend for showing Martin and I this brief article.

Okay...where's the WEATHER in TWC? Seriously, it's out of hand.
(OT: Felt it was necessary to make a new topic...didnt think it would fit the General TWC thread. :/)

I saw your post on facebook, Ana, an I am very upset. Thankfully, I was not watching. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with weather..at all. Why in the world would they show news stories? TWC, you're part of NBC now, you can tell viewers to tune into MSNBC if they want to find out more about the guy ;) The person(s) who thought this idea up is seriously an idiot.
This doesn't surprise me, though. That's the bad part.
-
Meh. Not surprised.
-
Wow. That's so unbelievably stupid that I don't even know how to respond. Well, I guess I just did, but.... wow. :faint:

Won't be surprise to see Forensic files/ID channel shows/TruTV shows appear in the near future on that channel.

Okay, I think we need to slow down with this one. Yes, it is a problem to see this kind of coverage on TWC, I agree. But I really don't think that we need to speculate about the future of TWC with influence from NBC, not half the things speculated will actually happen.

1) I doubt they'll go that far
2) TWC is owned by NBC/Comcast, not Time Warner
-
it's my personal opinon, shouldn't i have a say of what might happen anyway?
Coming up next: How weather affected evidence!

Not surprised either. MSNBC shows a number of crime related documentaries. TWC is slowly following MSNBC's footsteps.

And they wonder why Fox beats them in the ratings all the time. :fear:

I agree 100%. Its just stupid to say we will be seeing stuff like that on TWC.

How is "wouldn't be surprised" speculating?

That's what I want to know. He was just making a guess, but he never did say TWC will actually do those things.

Lest we forget this post:

I'm not trying to argue here or start an argument, but I think we need to calm down here. Yes, NBC has clearly had a detrimental effect on TWC, and I agree with next to nothing that they do. But exaggeration is not going to get anyone anywhere.

First this and now they're coveraging Tiger Woods (and probably overblowing it).
Wasn't surprised at this, they have Wake Up With Al. Case Closed. :hammer:
