Title: Sunrise Weather is real! FOR SURE! (as of 10/4/08)
Post by: Spring Rubber on September 27, 2008, 04:33:40 AM
At the bottom of this hour, they played the opener for Sunrise Weather, which used the same music as the WO opener. In the studio, however, the LCD screen still said "Weekend Outlook", and Ray Stagich also called it Weekend Outlook.

I wonder where this is going to go from here...

There was no Sunrise Weather whatsoever today. Maybe the schedule change next week is when the show will actually start, and maybe yesterday morning's opener was an accident.

As I was thinking, now that TWC is under the new schedule, Sunrise Weather officially launched today with a corresponding graphic on the LCD screen and a mention of it by Ray Stagich in the introductory script.

Oddly, there was no "open" today - just a full screen logo with the First Outlook teaser music playing. All other graphics remain unchanged from WO.

Edit: It also has it's own logo bug in the lower left; I'm recording, so just tell me if there's anything you want. I'll tell you if there's anything worthwhile after the show...

Edit 2: No Ray, it's not Weekend Outlook, it's Sunrise Weather.

Edit 3: No Ray, the times on the baseball forecasts are local time, not Eastern. Gang guy would also not appreciate how you just brushed over the college football information. :P
