According to The Weather Channel's Twitter account, there will be a "special announcement" at 5:00 PM Eastern.  I wonder what it is... :dunno:

Hmmmmm this makes me wonder, what is going to happen. I wonder if it's an annoucement of the new Winter Storm names. Or maybe it's about the new graphics or something along those lines.... We will find out when it's time. I wont be home at 5pm but when I do get back home I will go to weather.com or check out this page....

I doubt they're going to make such a special announcement about things related to graphics or anything similar.

My guess is they're going to announce new longform programs or some other change to the schedule.  Maybe a personnel change regarding OCMs.

Well according to @WCL_Shawn on twitter, it has something to do about weather. I doubt it's about the government shutdown but if it is I'm really going to be  :furious:. I think like Eric said it might have something to do with scheduling or the new theme weather all the time? The Weather Channel is planning to launch a new site http://beta.weather.com so maybe it's time for the 2013-2014 programming slate like announced in April. But I could be dead wrong?

I had a feeling this would be the case as well :rolleyes: but what caught my eyes was the 'F' storm (Falco).. maybe whomever came up with that name is a Starfox fan? :P
