Not sure if anyone has come across these before, but I've just found some rating numbers for all TWC's shows while browsing twcmediakit.com (http://www.twcmediakit.com/cable/programming/daily_programming.asp).
Your Weather Today is the highest-rated show on the network with 6.7 million viewers. And on the flip side, Weekend Outlook is the lowest-rated show with 2.3 million viewers.
Here are the numbers I found on the site for all shows:
Your Weather Today 6.7
Weekend View 6.6
PM Edition 6.5
Evening Edition 5.4
Day Planner 5.1
First Outlook 4.9
Weather Center 4.7
Weekend Weather Center 4.6
Abrams & Bettes 4.3
Weekend Now 3.8
Weekend Outlook 2.3

Wow, that's a pretty poor showing for A&B. I wonder how TWC execs feel about that.
-
But those ratings are from July 30, 2007-August 26, 2007

And? They are probably not much different now.
I didn't think A&B and First Outlook would have ratings that low. Maybe that's why they've been making changes to those shows recently. Not surprised to a low amount of viewers for Weekend Outlook though, since not many people are up 5-7 AM on weekends.
I have a silly question, how can TWC find out how many viewers are watching each show?

Nielsen Ratings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielsen_Ratings).
-
The same way every other channel on the dial does. ;)

I can see that... When people get up to go to work every day, of course they are going to check the forecast. On the other hand, on weekends, most people are not at the TV, but doing other things. :twothumbs:

Wow, the ratings for A&B are much less than what I expected.

A&B has so much working against it:
Eastern (7-9): Typical syndicated fare (namely Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!), then first hour of prime/eastern sporting events starting
Central (6-8): Local News, mostly Wheel of Fortune, then first hour of prime
Mountain (5-7): Local/National news
Pacific (4-6): People still at work at 4, news at 5

Plus, they're not the best OCM's in my opinion.
Maybe if First Outlook would go back to the original format they used from 2000-2003, they would get more viewers.

I doubt it. It's just too early of a show...
-
Yeah, that show is more aimed towards the east side of the country, since it airs during the overnight hours on the mountain and pacific time zone. Hence why it has a lower audience.
-
Weekend View rates second? How in the world is it so popular?
-
I'm surprised that PM Edition pulled such high ratings; I wonder what the ratings are like now. I know I used to care more about the show back then when Carl and Jennifer were still hosting.
-
The first two don't surprise me. I would have expected Evening Edition to have more viewers than PM Edition, but I guess it kind of makes sence that more people are getting settled down and watching TV around PME time..
I'm surprised at AB's ratings as well. I would expect them to be much higher than that. But, as mentioned earlier, they do have a lot against them.
