After seeing that second picture, I'm starting to agree with the theory about that font for Memphis being different.

I'm not sure what you all see in the second picture that looks different. Thelettering looks identical. A quick visual comparison of the p and e in Memphis with the p and e in Newport just to the Northwest confirms this.

The differences are quite obvious to me.

And while the P maybe similar, the E is different. Here's a look:

Note that the bottom part of the E on Memphis is longer than the bottom part of the E on Newport.

Memphis has a larger font size?

I think that is exactly whats trowing you guys off. The word Memphis is larger than any other word on that map (except Nashville which is barely visible at the top right). I think the difference you guys are seeing is the difference between a larger and smaller font size.

I agree with Gary.  I see no difference.  Then again, you guys are "font experts" I suppose (I always read you guys talking about them )  I see no difference.  I just think that the Memphis font is bigger, as Gary said
