During the live teaser for A&B, they just used a satellite map of the West, and it was using the new HD title bar, which looks much like what we've seen in the satellite HD LF/HD LF preview video.
-
You didn't by chacne get a capture, huh? :P
-
It's on my DVR buffer. Want me to pop in a DVD?
-
They teased us with the new titlebars (during the teaser, nontheless,) but didn't use them once more afterwards during the show... :hmm:
-
If you don't mind, SR, that'd be great! Thanks, man!
-
I think they were used once during the show for another Satellite map of the West.
Sexy little buggers.... :blushing:
-
I already did it before you even responded since your answer would obviously be "yes". :P
I actually got a really good deal on DVD+RWs at Office Depot the other day (half the price I'd normally pay), so I don't mind using them at all. (not like I ever did mind anyway)
-
As usual, I record four hours worth at a time, so I'll have the clip once EE finishes up at 10 PM CT.
-
Thanks! I appreciate it!
-
I'd love to see it, Steve! B)

Okay, here we go with that. It also contains Mike's "We're gonna do it."

Wow, I love that! Though, they should probably expand the width of the banners though, as it only covers about half the screen.
-
They probably don't want it to look awkward when it's in HD. For HD, there are generally two different graphics strategies:
1) Like this - keeping the graphics smaller and having them terminate within the safe zone (ESPN is a good example of this)
2) Stretching the graphics across the entire screen (16:9) while keeping the area outside the 4:3 safe zone content-free
I'm guessing the width of the title bars will change based on the length of the text within them.
No, I still haven't slept since earlier. I should probably go do that.

.....No, I still haven't slept since earlier. I should probably go do that.
Yeah, let's do that. :P :rofl2:

I saw this live last night. Looks really nice. But haven't we been getting some HD style graphics previews
for the past several months now during various programs such as PM Edition and Evening Edition with for
the five day forecast of a particular city that The Weather Channel focuses on during a segment?
-
I really like that! Thanks again, Steve.
