New ads showing the HD studio and new YWT logo

[Spring Rubber]

The progressive series of ads for the HD studio launch continues today with a new ad directly promoting the studio itself and showing video of rehearsals. After seeing the real life studio in action, I must say that it does look quite beautiful.

As you'll all see later when you wake up, the YWT color scheme will remain largely the same from the looks of it, but the logo itself and the employment of the color scheme will be completely different.

Hm, haven't caught any of these yet, except the 30 sec generic promo, and LOT8s open.

No EE ads yet? EE is also set to for HD June 2nd at last check.

Just saw that YWT promo... and yes, it looks amazing. I'm disappointed though, as it appears they're STILL using the same version of Skytracker. Can't we get a fancier radar, already?

Though I did notice of the past week or so, the interstate shields on Skytracker changed.

I just hope it doesn't take months for TWC to change the rest of the shows. Remember back in 2005 when it took them until the end of December (about four and a half months after the relaunch) to change all of the show graphics? And it was a gradual change too, as they changed the graphics for one show like every two weeks.

Finally, I saw the ad when it aired at 1:57 AM ET. Looks pretty neat.

So, what do we all think of the new Evening Edition logo. It almost looks a bit "tabloid"-y to me, like something you'd see on Fox News.

At any rate, I really wish EE would reinvent itself for the new era and return to its old self. The show's format has been getting worse and worse since Alexandra came aboard.

I actually have not seen the new EE logo.  I'll have to look at it sometime.  maybe I will check on youtube

I'd love to see First Forecast and TWC Across America come back

I saw a quick glimpse of the logo, and it looks really plain to me.
