NBC Universal is interested in TWC, but has decided it will not pay the $5 billion Landmark is asking. Article:

I guess that means then that there's one less contender for TWC.

Why would they sell it? Isnt that their biggest/only asset?

I think that's a matter of personal opinion. Personally, I think it is. I never liked the idea of NBC buying TWC. :no:

I don't know. I don't think they've made the reason public...at least AFAIK they haven't.  :unsure:
