I don't mean to troll, but Microsoft, Schmicrosoft.

Steve Jobs' RDF at work…
Uhh.... ok. Great contribution there. Just because a product is made by Microsoft doesn't mean its horrible. Other companies besides Apple make decent products.
Microsoft rarely makes decent products. The only things I can think are the Xbox, and the Trebuchet MS and Georgia fonts.

ANYWAYS........

I'm curious to see how much further TWC will further implement this technology in to their broadcasts, if they so choose to keep it.

1) You're wrong. 2) If you don't have something intelligent to contribute to the thread, please don't bother posting.

It's an interesting device.
Before I saw the clip, I thought something was going to pop up like in Star Wars.

Strap a keyboard to it and I could work on it - spilling coffee would not be a problem.
Practicality?  I don't know, but it was interesting to see.

I like the segment they put together, though.

Wow, they're actually talking about the whys of weather! Haven't seen that in years. The female anchor is terrible, though. And are the iPad and table really necessary? Would viewers think any less of them if they read the questions off a much cheaper cue-card?
They are trying to be more relevant with viewers using "hip" devices. I think its neat to see them incorporate stuff like this and as long as the general theme is weather and it is not interfering with svr weather I am all for it :D
