From the glimpse I caught, it looks disgustingly Fox News-ish. Way too flashy and cluttered; I'm not liking it.
-
It's about time they start some Hurricane ad stuff. Is the slogan the same?
-
I don't remember. Hopefully it'll air again soon.
-
Yes, its still The Hurricane Authority.
-
Actually, they've switched back to the late 2005 slogan of "Your Hurricane Authority".
-
Oh dear. Here comes another season of taking 45 minutes an hour to analyze how quiet the tropics are, notcing the SLIGHTEST wave/wind changes in the Atlantic/Pacific/Carribean, sending out 10 OCMs to cover such a dangerous tropical wave, and heading into storm alert mode over a tropical depression, ALL IN HD TOO.
*GASP* :o

I think they learned their lesson from ernesto
-
So let's enjoy the last week of Storm Watch in the spring while we're at it. Then it's all downhill this summer. :P
Even on Weather Gold, every year the Storm Watch headlines during the summer is "Storm Watch is on a hiatus this hurricane season." So apparently inactive oceans are much more important than nationwide tornado outbreaks in the summer. <_<

So let's enjoy the last week of Storm Watch
Which technically, to TWC at least, doesn't even exist, because they no longer refer to the :50 segment as such, and they don't use those openers. And besides, sometimes the :50 pasts segments talk about other things besides Storm Watch.
-
I just want to hear NEW STORM ALERT MUSIC.
-
When was storm watch discontinued?
-
I guess bailing out of watching TWC after their 05 relaunch and then coming back 3 years later doesn't help, Steve.
-
When was storm watch discontinued?
Usage of the segment was limited to only severe weather/winter storms after the 2006 Hurricane Season, and the segment was eliminated entirely from regular usage after the 2007 Hurricane Season.

Just the other day, I recall seeing a "Storm Watch" graphic being used at :50 after the hour. I forget what show it was, though.

Anyone have this promo on tape? :)

Anyone have this promo on tape? :)
Yeah, I think I have it on tape, but there's an orange crawl running across the bottom of it.
-
Never mind, I just saw it. Lol... thanks though, Billy.
-
I have not seen the ad at all today. When does it usually air?
-
I have not seen the ad at all today. When does it usually air?
Just when you're not watching. :P
Seriously, they air occasionally at :18/:48. Other times the HD ads are showing.
-
i did watch at :18 and :48 and THEY NEVER AIR!
-
I thought there was only a short version. (:08, :28, :38, and :58)
-
No, I remember a 30 sec version at :18/:48.
