I was woundering, how many times do you often record TWC? If so, what do you use? A DVD Recorder, A VHS VCR, USB TV tuners or TV tuner cards? Or maybe even Betamaxes by any chance?
I know its nice to contribute them here on this site and on YouTube, but has anyone here ever ran out of DVDs/tapes/hard drive space and/or possibly even money to buy the media disks/tapes or subscribing to a DVR service (like Tivo)?
For me, I only recorded in December 2006, April 2007, and March 2008. My hard drive gets full after recording one day.

I record TWC once every week. I record the overnight clips on my VCR...whenever i have the time which is like once every 2-3 weeks. All other times I record TWC from my tuner and Slingbox.

The only stuff I really record are the local forecasts. I rarely ever record OCM segments unless there is something really interesting going on in my area, such as a blizzard or nor'easter. I record generally 3-5 LFs a week, or more when there's a good playlist or a major weather event.
Since July 2006, I've recorded at least 250-300 LF clips with my tuner.

I only record Local on the 8s and sometimes I'll incudles a little footage (such as the openers, etc.) at the end of a video.

Somebody needs to start recording again because there's a lot of stuff being missed

It's like gee, I wonder who chose the first option. :ermm:

I forgot to mention that I accendently deleted alot of the videos that I recorded back in April of this year. There was really good show that I like and I wanted to record so bad. I didn't have enougth room on the DVR. I was even planing on contributing, but lost the footage.
