Title: Hanna's other three landfalls
Post by: Spring Rubber on September 15, 2008, 07:18:39 PM
Salisbury, Maryland    September 6    50
Islip, New York    September 6    60
New Haven, Connecticut    September 6    60

Why didn't TWC have 50,000 reporters at each of these sites? Rather, they sort of neglected the storm by this point. Would things have been different had Ike not been in the picture?

It seems that my area never gets a lot of attention on TWC (or any nationwide market) for whatever reason, regardless of what is going on. Why is that? There was plenty of interesting weather going on here, including a tornado warning, and several flash flood warnings! Yet, most of what they talked about was Ike instead.

Are you saying that what you had going on was worthy of coverage over Ike?
