Vivian Brown has been an OCM since 1989.  She's always been on the air for as long as I've watched TWC. :)

Actually, Billy linked me to an article that says she joined as an apprentice in 1986, and she became an OCM in 1988 :yes:

The year I quoted was when she stopped being an apprentice OCM, so you and Billy just confirmed that she joined TWC when it was only four years old! :blink:

Her, Jim Cantore, Jeff Morrow, and Bill Kineely (been there since the start) are the 4 longest tenured OCMs there today :yes:

For those of you that are interested, I found a site that will let you visit certain websites and allows you to see what they looked like on a given day in a given year. For those of you interested, here's what www.weather.com looked like in 1996  :bleh: (attached image)

I'm liking the special lower 3rds for Weather Center much better than anything I've seen since they went HD. They should do lower 3rds like that for every show...I think they'd look great!

So we now know that Alex (and probably Paul) will be be in for four hours. 10-1 eastern for regular Weather Center, and then 1-2eastern (and most likely repeated the next two hours) for Weather Center West Coast, with "special west coast segments."
