It looks like he's the primary fill-in for this shift on Saturday now; he was on last Saturday as well.
He seems to have taken Dave's place as a fill-in.
Ah, that makes perfect sense to why he's no longer on EEWC. B)
I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

So Rich Johnson works any day of the week? I saw him yesterday and I could of sworn he was on on a Monday too earlier this month.

Yeah apparently he does what Dave was doing-go wherever he's needed, whenever that may be.

But Dave had specific days that he worked (Wednesday-Sunday). So far, Rich's schedule seems to be completely random, and he could show up on any day.

Kelly just said to a former NBC meteorologist out in the field that they should get him a TWC coat for him to wear. Sounds like he will end up being in TWC's studio soon.

Jeff Ranieri was reporting live from Worcester, MA this morning, and Kelly Cass commented that they need to get him a TWC jacket and hat.

Yeah. Leaves a big unknown with MSNBC's weather segments, though. Will they go to Atlanta just for those? Or will they have a TWC meteorologist somewhere at 30 Rock?

Rich and Kristina on Weekend WC. Who is Rich filling in for?

And there it is folks: Let's do that right as Rich begins his OCM wall segment.

usually it's Carl Parker and Kristina Abernathy on Weekend Weather Center.. But it seems they need Carl Parker to fill in for either Kristin or Adam tonight for Evening Edition.

Fill-in mania. Why is TWC's OCM lineup so...unstable? (like a cold front in the summer)

Because their so short-handed. They just eliminated a bunch, plus have one on maternity leave, one fired, and one retirement. So yeah, it adds up to some holes that are needing to be filled somehow.

On Jeff Ranieri...its interesting, becauseon TWC they act as if he's a TWC employee, yet every time he's on NBC NN Brian Williams refers to him as "NBC Meteorologist" Jeff Ranieri.

It's unstable because of the recent lay-offs, as well as several OCMs taking off for the season and the winter weather outbreaks. Alexandra should be returning from leave within a few weeks (maybe the week after New Years) so that should hopefully make the schedule more stable, at least in the evening.

Apparently this is the business that Jim had with NBC this week...he's doing sideline reporting at the Sunday Night Football game because it's so windy there; apparently they saw it as a nice opportunity for some cross-promotion.
