Could they be using this hour break to prepare for a full-out Storm Alert at 3 PM ET?
Why would they go to Storm Alert if Gustav is nowhere near the US yet?

Cheryl Lemke and Mike Seidel are doing WWC today so that Carl and Kristina can do the extended edition of PME later tonight.

I still wonder if they'll run Forecast Earth at 4 PM CT, though.

I never saw it before! Yet again 99.99% of the time i only watch TWC to listen to the local forecast music.

Tonight on A&B, they aired a Forecast Earth special report featuring Stu Ostro doing his part of the report from an area just behind the old studio 1B desk with the Global Forecast Center in the background. It's been a long time since we've seen that! :P
