They plated the Storm Alert music going to a Health segment at 5:43 PM ET.
That was the 2006 Storm Alert LF theme.

Never seen this before... At 6:03 PM ET, they were showing a radar image of Dolly, and they zoomed in on Titan, and there were two "Brownsville" city labels. Then they moved the one so it would be over top the other.
My super-awesome website!

I'm very confused with the storm alert music because there seems to be three different themes. Here are some videos:

Video 1

Video 2

Video 3 (Courtesy of: Billy/beanboy89)

I'm thinking the theme from Billy's video is Storm Alert and the others are just for the basic tropical update. Does someone mind helping me out on this, though. Thanks! :)

Interesting; Jim Cantore basically just touted this storm as "a fun time".

They're going to Sharon and Rich at the top of the hour. I guess with the new schedule there's no more such thing as a three hour regular EE?

...and surprisingly, EEWC just grazed over the topic of Dolly and focused instead on the region-by-region forecast. It also looks like they might not even go live through the night. This is nothing like we would've seen two years ago.

They even just pulled the "Dolly Box" half way through the segment, havent seen it since. Also dropped the lower third I've seen most the night.

First time poster here

If they're removing the stuff now, how much you wanna bet they'll be in Storm Alert at Midnight?

If they plan on going into Storm Alert for this system, with the way things have gone so far this hour, it likely won't occur until 3 AM CT - the start of First Outlook.

Yeah, thats how it worked last time when ever I saw them go in to S.A.

They don't have the lowethird going anymore, but they've still got the pictogram or Dolly's path / radar. :P

The LDL on Dish Network is just rotating city names, no WX. :P

I'm confused here... I thought we were talking about the lower third graphic that was being used to display information about Dolly?
