I just wonder if anyone else here has noticed that the commercial for the Local on the 8s where there is a woman (Jill) who is deciding what to wear that day and the Local on the 8s starts talking to her and tells her what the weather is and that what she has chosen looks good. Anyway if you look at the TV it has the IntelliSTAR v.1 with the old TWC logo.

I just recorded and posted the ad that I was talking about on youtube. After watching it again the LOT8s on the TV is acutally the XL v.2. so it must have been filmed a long time ago!

They're using the 2006-2007 morning Tropical Update opener this morning on Weekend Outlook; I wonder if we'll see the new graphics later today or if we'll have to wait until tomorrow.

...and did anyone notice that the studio seems a little brighter here on its final full day of operation? The pillars definitely seem to be a richer blue and orange, and even the backdrop looks brighter and more vivid.
