They played "Change of Seasons" by Mark Krurnowski when going to break at 11:36 PM CT. I love that song!
That's my favorite Mark Krurnowski song.  At first I didn't like his music, but his style grew on me :)

BTW, I wonder why they don't play production music for the break segments?

They usually do, but sometimes the BMI library is used instead.

That's very odd. I usually only hear them play songs featured on the current playlist.

Is it just me, or are they using the Weekend Now backdrop on FO/YWT this morning?

WWCH openers are back, unsurprisingly.

I wonder how long the WWCH ads will stay around before we start seeing ads for the HD launch?

Judging from how early TWC has been airing openers for events in the past, it may very well be within the next week or two.

I thought I'd miss Dwight doing EEWC, but whoever is working Master now is actually making use of the music that Stephen Arnold Music made for the show and even using the more rare cuts of music. For the first hour teaser, they used the highly rare "stinger" track that is rarely used on the full controlled show when coming back from break. I love that music.

The new Master operator has used nothing but EE music for the past two nights, and plenty of it, too!

Wow, I better watch EEWC more often! What do you mean by the "stinger" track?

Ah, yes.  I was going to come and mention that I actually heard the EE music..on EE... which is unheard of :P (well, every time I watch.. they always have some sort of different music).  I think they should just stick to one music, that way when the viewer turns on the TV and hears that particular music, they know EXACTLY what show they are watching

A stinger is basically a short 5 second (or short in general) burst of the main chord / rhythm.

Oh okay, so I guess Steve was referring to the music they used in the short lived EE regional openers?

I agree that they should stick to the show's music, rather than production music. If I were to watch a show for an hour, I hear the show's actual music maybe three times at best. If you go back two years ago, you'd hear it all the time. Same with those crappy on the fly openers that were introduced in 2007, which are the same for each show with the exception of the background color. Also, whatever happened to the Storm Watch opener? I haven't seen those since before the 2007 hurricane season.
