They just announced that tonight was Dwight Milliner's last night as master control operator on EEWC; he's moving to a different shift, they said.

Dave's on Day Planner right now...I have a feeling it's gonna be a long day for him, my friend.

(That would make a great drinking game.  One drink every time Dave says "my friend".)

@ Billy: I thought of that, as well. Perhaps different amounts depending on the closeness to the exact phrase. You're guaranteed to pass out by the end of the night.

@ Matt: I'm pretty sure people actually did have a drinking game during the Dave & Hillary era of EEWC. "My friend" merited a drink, and any time that Hillary said something stupid or screwed up in some way also merited a drink. There might have been other events that prompted a drink, but I don't remember it very well.

So basically the keg was gone in about 35 minutes?

Also...LDL just ran straight through everything (commercials and all), and the Local still popped on.  The LDL is just not turning off...

Jennifer Lopez and Kevin Robinson are color-coordinated today. At the beginning of Weekend Now, Jennifer made a comment saying she liked the color of Kevin's tie and said "great minds think alike." Wonder if they planned this like Heather and Marshall do each morning for YWT?

thats the first thing I noticed when the camera hit them at the beginning of the hour. i think it would be pretty awesome if they did that from now on. though i guess it wouldn't matter because Jennifer will be outta there in a few months.

Kim Perez and Nick Walker have also done this almost every morning that I've watched or recorded for the past several weeks. I think more and more teams are starting to copy the Heather/Marshall trend.

Interesting, Carl and Kristin did the first hour of PME again today. I wonder if this is permanent.

They also accidentally ended the show with EE music, and Carl and Kristin each accidentally walked in front of the key wall when they weren't supposed to during that segment, as well.

They also used the EE backdrop from the start of the show - something they haven't done for the past few weekends or so.

They're doing WWC with the EE backdrop up. That's odd.

I noticed that. Also, today is apparently the day they're switching to the summer openers. I just saw the WC summer opener at the top of both hours.

They used the winter opener at the bottoms of the hours; it was the exact opposite yesterday as well as on Easter Sunday.

I also noticed that they're using the old Climate Code music for some of the Earth Day coverage on the air.

They played "Change of Seasons" by Mark Krurnowski when going to break at 11:36 PM CT. I love that song!
