Just now on First Outlook; they used a lower third with a lowercase bottom line. I don't believe I've ever seen that with the current lower thirds before.

For sure.  He is on Day Planner with Carl Parker today.  It was odd, because after carl got done doing a segment, he threw it to Mike at the desk, and Mike said something along the lines of

"Word from management, Kevin and Jennifer are suppose to be doing the show.  I have a meeting with them after the show"     Wonder what that was suppose to mean :P

Maybe he wants to work at a different time slot?

There was actually more to it than just that little bit. I just so happened to be recording at the time, so here's the whole segment; Mike tried to tell us who they were filling in for, but he couldn't remember, resulting in "Hall of Fame broadcasting."

Anyone else think this Tree Pollen map is one of the oldest maps that TWC currently uses on-air?

You can definitely tell that's rarely used, because it has the old base map on it. I wish they'd show those useful pollen maps more often.

BTW, I must admit I was happy when Adam Berg announced that he'll be doing EEWC tonight. Cheryl does a better job when paired with someone, anyway.

The photos are from November 2005, so I'd say yes.

I found another pic from that same site that features the IntelliStar systems. The domestic IntelliStar is the left unit, and the Weatherscan unit is the right one. On the very top right of the image, you can see some XL units too...
